Your journey begins on Friday 18 October, at Villa Tiepolo Passi, where you’ll enjoy Dream and Heritage experience “A Night at the Villa”, dedicated to art, beauty, nature and history. Immersed in an atmosphere of times gone by, you’ll enjoy simple home comforts combined with great elegance.
On Saturday 19th October, mid-morning, you can visit the majestic Roncade Castle (20 minutes from Villa Tiepolo Passi), with its centuries-old garden, private chapel, vineyard and cellars. The Castle offers the Heritage and Wine experience “Venetian Villas Day at the Castle”, where you’ll learn how the Ciani Bassetti family returned this residence to its former glory and rediscovered its ancient farming traditions, along with the opportunity to sample some of their own wines.
Towards late afternoon, we recommend the Heritage and Wine “Classic Experience” at Villa Sandi (45 minutes from Castello di Roncade): this immersive experience offers a glimpse into daily life in the Villa, showcasing its Palladian-style architecture and rich winemaking heritage, rounded off with a tasting of prestigious red wines aged in French oak barriques.
To conclude the day, you’ll return to Villa Tiepolo Passi (35 minutes from Villa Sandi), where you’ll overnight in the Villa’s Antica Foresteria residence, and on Sunday 20th October you’ll be treated to a guided walk through the Villa’s grounds.
On Sunday 20th October, you’ll spend early afternoon in Villa Rechsteiner (about 40 minutes from Villa Tiepolo Passi), admiring its splendid artistic interiors and discovering those areas of the Villa not usually open to the public. The Villa offers the Heritage and Wine experience Itinerant tastings: stories, art and nature, which pairs wine with a work by the Italian painter Alberto Martini, inspired by the stories of Edgar Allan Poe.
