A full weekend of activities to discover and experience the Villas of Veneto and Friuli
Now in its third edition, La Giornata delle Ville Venete is an event of national importance entirely dedicated to showcasing the history of Life in the Venetian Villas through a range of experiences: tours, tastings, workshops, readings, performances, conferences and exclusive meetings. A weekend giving visitors an immersive experience of the Villas across the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions, with a choice of themes ranging from Heritage, Green, Wine & Food, Family, Dream, and Well-being.
The event is commissioned and organized by the Regional Institute for Venetian Villas (IRVV) in collaboration with the Association for Venetian Villas, with the aim of promoting a deeper appreciation of Venetian Villas and their cultural significance through concrete experiences.
La Giornata delle Ville Venete (GVV) aims to offer a rare glimpse into the rich historical and cultural heritage of Venetian Villas – a patrimony unmatched anywhere else in the world. Through a range of immersive Experiences held directly within the villas, the GVV aims to highlight the contemporary relevance of the Venetian Villa, and the wide range of services these historical estates offer today’s visitor.
