Your journey will begin on Friday 18th October with the unique Dream experience “We in Villa”, comprising an overnight stay at Villa Roberti, in an apartment created within a medieval tower, or in the Magnolia apartment (inside the Villa itself) or on the Villa’s Piano Nobile. An adventure blending history and nature to experience the atmosphere of the Villa to the full. Treat yourself to a romantic weekend, sleeping in a unique setting just a few kilometres from Padua.
Saturday 20th October, spend the morning visiting the nearby Villa Rosa in Teolo (a half hour’s drive from Villa Roberti) for the Heritage experience “Discover the history of Villa Rosa, told by the owners” – a thrilling opportunity to step inside a private Venetian Villa that’s remained unchanged for centuries, and hear captivating stories from the owners who live there and preserve its rich history.
In the afternoon, continue your tour with a Well-being experience at Castello Estense – “Meditate, listen, and immerse yourself in the green splendour of Castello Estense” in Arquà Polesine – (40 minutes’ drive from Teolo). Nestled between two rivers, the castle is one of the most enchanting spots in the province of Rovigo. Stroll through the castle’s grounds, discover ancient trees, immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of nature and relax listening to meditative readings – all designed to create a truly peaceful escape.
On Sunday 20th October, select a unique Green experience surrounded by nature and animals: “The Transumance” at Parco Frassanelle (30 minutes’ drive from Villa Roberti) offers a unique opportunity to experience the traditional migration of sheep and lambs as they head to their winter pastures. You’ll learn more about these sociable animals and their importance in our lives, get to feed them, and then accompany them out to graze on the estate’s pastures.
Alternatively, if you’re looking for a more family-friendly activity, we recommend the “Family” experience at Castello di San Pelagio “The San Pelagio Botanical Treasure Hunt”, an intriguing treasure hunt exploring the rare and fascinating nature that graces the castle’s historic gardens.
